Car seats made by Britax are now common in the United States.
Now, the American car maker is looking to expand its product range in Canada and other countries.
The company has announced it’s opening a new location in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
It will offer a range of car seats made from materials sourced from Canada and the United Kingdom, including car paint.
The company’s new vehicle assembly line will be located in the Saskatoon plant, which has been in operation for the last eight years.
The Canadian division of the company has seen its annual sales increase by a total of 1,100 percent over the last five years.
Britax says the Saskaton product line will help it grow its manufacturing and sales base in Canada.
