Nissan is going to offer a new car rental service that can be rented for less than $2 per hour on a Nissan.
“Nissan is committed to helping customers save on their electric vehicles,” said Richard J. Lehrman, president and CEO of Nissan North America, in a statement.
“We’re pleased to partner with Carly Hallam on this service and look forward to exploring ways to better support our customers and their electric car needs.”
The Nissan LEAF is the cheapest electric car available on the market today, and it’s also the only electric car that has the capability to charge in less than two hours, unlike other electric vehicles.
The LEAF also has the fastest acceleration time of any electric vehicle in the US, which makes it an ideal car for long trips.
Nissan will also be offering discounted pricing on the rental services for those who purchase their car on or after March 17.
