A new driver’s license in Drona has been cancelled after a driver allegedly left a parked car seat unattended for hours.
The Dronas City Council has voted to scrap the $60-a-year driver’s licenses issued by the city and to replace them with a new one.
A report released by the state Department of Transportation shows that drivers have been left without a valid driver’s permit for almost two months.
The new licenses are expected to be issued on Monday.
Drona police have arrested 19 people since May 11 for allegedly parking illegally in the city’s parks and recreation areas.
Police are investigating allegations of trespassing, parking in the wrong spot and obstruction of a public work project.
