Apple’s new electric car, the Apple CarPlay, has the potential to revolutionize how Americans travel, buy, and sell their cars, but it’s still in the very early stages.
We spoke to two experts about what the future holds and how they think the electric car is evolving into a viable transportation solution.
(Reuters)What’s electric car technology like right now?
A car with an electric motor has a battery that’s capable of driving up to 100 miles per charge.
The batteries can be charged by plugging them into a wall outlet, and a small, lithium-ion battery pack sits behind the front wheels.
The battery is charged with electricity, and the car can be stopped in the middle of a long trip or even during a crash to recharge the battery, allowing it to go again.
A new Tesla model has a 100-mile range.
That means the car will be able to charge the battery for about 12 hours, or about four days, at a time.
A full day’s driving on the highway is expected to be cheaper than an all-electric car.
Tesla says it has a range of 100 miles on the roads, which is about the range of a typical plug-in hybrid vehicle.
(Tesla)How do people buy an electric car?
The best way to get a car that’s not a plug-ins hybrid is to buy an all electric vehicle.
Plug-ins are a hybrid of an internal combustion engine and a gasoline engine.
Some plug-ines are gasoline engines that use the electricity produced by a car to run the electric motor, while others are diesel engines that operate on the same electrical power.
Plug in hybrid cars often include a range-extending battery pack.
That battery pack will be charged when a car is on the road, and will be needed if a crash happens.
How much the battery will need to be charged depends on how many miles you drive.
How do electric cars operate?
Most electric cars that we have seen have been hybrids, and Tesla’s new Model 3 is one of the most efficient electric vehicles ever built.
Tesla says the Model 3 has a combined range of between 300 miles and 400 miles.
That’s about the distance of a city.
The company says the battery pack that is inside the Model S can charge a 100 mile battery in about two hours.
Tesla sells a variety of models of electric cars.
The Model S is the cheapest, but the range is limited, and that’s because the Model X and Model 3 are not designed for the long range, or even for the daily commute.
The range of Tesla’s Model X is about 140 miles, compared with the 200 miles of the Model III.
How much does a Tesla Model 3 cost?
The cheapest Model 3, the S, starts at $70,000.
The base model, the X, starts $90,000, and all the Model Threes start at $125,000 and up.
The $50,000 base Model 3 will be a premium sedan.
Tesla charges a $7,500 installation fee, and its Model 3 battery pack is designed to last 10 years, so you’ll need to keep it around.
But for the Model 4, Tesla says it will start charging you in less than two years.
Tesla is also making a big push to get electric cars into the hands of as many people as possible.
What’s the difference between a plug in and a hybrid?
Plug in hybrids have a hybrid engine that drives a battery.
A plug-up hybrid has an internal-combustion engine that runs on electricity.
Plugin hybrids are more expensive, but they offer a longer range and less emissions than plug-ups.
The difference between plug-ind and plug-n-play is that plug-inns use a battery instead of a combustion engine.
A plug-nil, or zero-emissions, electric vehicle will have a combustion-powered electric motor and a battery pack with a range limit of 100 to 200 miles.
Tesla calls this a “dischargeable battery.”
A plug in is an electric vehicle that uses electricity to power the vehicle’s internal combustion engines.
A Plug-in Hybrid is a hybrid that uses a gasoline-electric engine to run on electricity instead of gasoline.
Plug-ins also have more fuel-efficiency than plug in hybrids, but electric vehicles can’t get the same amount of miles per gallon of fuel.
A Tesla Model S, for example, can get 25 miles per liter of gasoline, but a Model 3 can get 27.5 miles per litre of gasoline and a Model X can get 26 miles per quart.
Plug in cars also have higher operating costs than plug n-play cars.
A Model S in particular has an operating cost of $4,600, compared to $1,200 for a plug n hybrid.
The difference between the cost of an electric and a plug is that electric vehicles have higher efficiency and can have more range.
