A 3-month-old child died in a crash that police said left one child injured and the other with life-threatening injuries in a car rental in Alamo City, Texas, Thursday night.
The infant was in the backseat when the driver of a Honda Accord struck the toddler, said Alamo Police Chief Todd Riggs.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car was being rented by a local family in the 8500 block of South Washington Avenue at around 10 p.m.
The driver of the car, an adult male, was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, Riggs said.
The Honda Accord was described as a blue or tan two-door hatchback, with a red or black hood.
The child was sitting in the rear seat.
