A stranger who claims to know you could be the person who has stalked you.
The man is threatening to harm your loved one, even though you’ve said you’d never harm someone else.
Read moreIt’s the first time I’ve ever experienced a person stalking me, so I can’t say for sure whether it was real or not.
I don’t have a clue.
But it was definitely the worst experience of my life.
I was just sitting there and it just started happening.
It was so horrible.
I was sitting there, sitting there in my room, watching the news.
And I was thinking: ‘I know what’s happening, but what can I do to stop it?’
I was just waiting for someone to get me.
Then suddenly, my phone rang.
I had a huge panic attack.
I thought: ‘What the hell?
What did he say?’
I felt very scared, but I’m very lucky I was in a different place.
I didn’t know what was going to happen next.
My boyfriend at the time was on a plane to Australia.
I couldn’t sleep.
He was just crying.
I started to cry.
The next thing I know, my boyfriend’s plane is flying out of Australia, and he’s already landed in Sydney.
He was in tears.
He had been in tears for days, because I had been so worried about him.
He’s a wonderful guy.
He asked me to come over to his room.
I wasn’t in a hurry, because he’s the type of guy who will just come to you and say, ‘Come over and meet me’.
But I’m not going to come.
I’m going to go to the toilet and put my clothes back on, and then he said: ‘Well, you’ve been the victim of a real crime, haven’t you?’
I thought, ‘Really?
You’ve just told me I was being stalkers, so what are you going to do about it?”
I want you to go on holiday with me.’
He was trying to make me do it.
I just looked at him like, ‘You’ve got my number, I’ll call you back.’
I don.
And then he called the police.
I asked him: ‘Is there anything you can do for me?’
And he was like, “Well, if I can do anything, then yes.”
I just thought: I have nothing to lose.
I could never do anything to him.
And he was so nice to me.
He said to me: ‘Don’t worry, I’m taking care of everything for you.’
I was so shocked.
I can remember him saying to me, ‘I’ll do everything for my daughter’.
I was like: ‘Oh my God, I haven’t done anything for you, and you’re going to give me a good job?”
Well, I just want to know what the problem is.’
He didn’t really say anything.
He just said to tell you, ‘Go to the police.’
I said, ‘No, I don´t want to.’
He just went and said: “I’m coming with you.”‘
No, you don’t need to.”
Oh, I really don’t.
I know everything.
You know everything.’
I thought, oh, he’s just going to call the police and say: ‘You don’t really need to tell me what happened.’
I didn’t want to.
I said: ”No, no, no.
I love you so much.’
He said: `No, don’t call the cops.’
I just kept saying: ‘No.
I will not tell you anything.’
I was so worried, because when I got back to Australia, I started going through the same thing, but this time I was more upset.
I’d been having a breakdown for a long time.
I kept thinking: what is going on?
I kept worrying that I was about to do something terrible.
I told him I wasn´t going to tell anyone about it.
I just told him, ‘Listen, I love this guy.
He´s really nice, and I just really don´T want to hurt him.’
He was crying.
He said to the cops, ‘Do something for me.’
And they went and found him.
I took him back to his place and told him: I love him.
We’re going on holiday together.
I promised him I would make sure that nothing bad happened to him, and that he would be OK.
But I was worried that I wasn t doing enough.
